Delicious tacos!
This place has a pretty good menu of tacos, burritos and more! It's busy at night but also pretty quick! The space is super large with a good number of seatings
My friends and I got regular nachos (chips + beef + cheese) and a bunch of carnitas and steak tacos
They were topped with onion and cilantro and it was so good!! The sauces provided are also good too! Would definitely recommend that you try the green sauce (I can't remember the name)
Also try the pineapple juice! It's refreshing and good! -

El Taurino has lost its touch... Their red salsa that used to be so spicy and flavorful, is not spicy at all anymore. Their salsa was what made their food special because come on... their meat isn't particularly flavorful or tender.
They also must have recently switched out their cheese with some sort of fake cheese. I ordered a quesadilla and the cheese was stiff and not melty at all. When I took the leftovers home and tried to reheat them, even two minutes in the microwave didn't get it to melt. Weird. Safe to say, both my boyfriend and I had pretty terrible stomachaches after.
El Taurino used to be some of my favorite Mexican food (largely because I grew up with my dad bringing home burritos from there all the time) but I don't think I'll be returning. -

Very F$&!?ing disappointed in today's service.
First of all we called spoke to Edgar to place an order over the phone to avoid long lines and as soon as we get there our order was never put in. Like umm what was the point of calling it in right.
Next, we placed an order of Burritos (no onions or salsa).
We pick it up on window #4 and head home because we didn't not want to eat at this over crowded restaurant. Anyways, we get home to take a bite of our burritos to find that they did not put rice or beans on our burritos!
At this point I'm upset because if I wanted tortilla and meat I would've order a taco.
We decided to call in spoke with Edgar and told him what had occurred and that we wanted our money back or a new order. He comes to tell us he can't give us our refund nor can he give us a new order. At this point I am livid because we didn't mess up the order it was on their behalf. He starts being really rude over the phone and said that we can bring back the bites burritos and he will add the rice and beans to it. I'm so pissed at their service that it's not funny. Edgar did not want to give us the managers name because he said there was no point of it. Finally he gave us a name and said he wasn't available to speak to.
Taurino , your workers are really unorganized, a mess and and basically useless. How is it that I couldn't get my refund? What type of service is your business providing?
And what type of people are working at your facility because they are rude!
If by any means you guys order here please check your order before leaving the pick up window because if. It they will not help you out. -

El Taurino's has been around for as long as I can remember. The taste of the meats (carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, etc...) have not change at all. They are famous for their al pastor meats. Their affiliation with their flagship "King Taco" is as follows.
King Taco began in 1974 when Martinez converted an ice cream truck and used it to make and sell tacos.
King Taco began in 1974 when Martinez converted an ice cream truck and used it to make and sell tacos.
Six months later after he started with the taco truck, Martinez opened the first brick-and-mortar restaurant on Cypress Avenue in Los Angeles and eventually expanded to more than 20 locations. Martinez and his brother also opened El Taurino, another Mexican restaurant known for its tacos. -

I am super disappointed in today's service. We ( my sister and I) called in ahead of time to place an order for pick up. The lady told me I did not have to wait in line and to go to Line 4 and they would go from there. Got the Taurino went to window 4 only to be told to wait in line? Like ok, i was told on the phone i didn't have too but whatever we were already there so might as well wait. They only had two cashiers going and it was busy!! This is expected as this place is super popular especially during lunch hour.
Anyways we talked to the lady like hey we called in for an order she only had my name written down on a piece of paper and she said "yes what would you like to order?" I told her that we had already placed it over the phone but it was 10 tacos de carne asada with cilantro and onion, salsa on the side. Ok she placed it and we paid, she said your order will be next just wait for your number to be called.
So we waited....waited....waited!!! Every other number was being called but ours! I went up to her saying hey what about us? 5 numbers have been called after ours? She spoke over the mic saying "phone order ready" and. Nothing happened I finally went to the window where the food is being made and said hey is that a to go order and the lady said yes I'm like great that's probably ours she said "is your number 264?" I said no but mine is 262 and she with an attitude told me then no sweetie it's not for you.... excuse me? Please don't sweetie me. FINALLY! We saw someone else go to the register take the ticket out and lord and behold it was our order....it was never taken from the ticket receipt thing they use.
Got the food and drove home and to our surprise NO CILANTRO AND NO ONION!!! Like come on just the meat??? Complete waste of time it keeps at least another star because I've been coming here for years! But it's time to go elsewhere.
They need better communication in there.
